About me
Welcome to natgeorgiadou ceramics, where every piece is a reflection of creativity, and craftsmanship. My name is Natalia Georgiadou, the ceramic artist behind my namesake brand, working from my studio in Athens, Greece.
I focus on creating small-batch functional pieces, including mugs, tableware and decoration pieces. Every item is entirely handmade, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike. My work highlights clean, sometimes rustic forms shaped from natural cream stoneware clay, finished with bold, colorful hand-painted patterns.
All ceramic glazes are non-toxic, lead-free, and completely food-safe.
The story behind
Feel free to contact me with any questions or to learn more about my work.
From clay to table
My journey with craftsmanship began long before ceramics. As a child, my grandmother, a tailor working with French clothing brands, taught me how to sew clothes for my Barbies. At the same time, I was constantly drawing imaginary jewelry collections, and sketching everything that inspired me.
Looking back, those early moments quietly shaped the maker I would become.
In 2023, while casually scrolling through Instagram one evening, I came across a ceramic studio announcing one last available spot in a wheel-throwing class. I signed up without hesitation, and within weeks I knew I wanted to explore ceramics more deeply.
I was fortunate to learn from a teacher who became not only my mentor but also a dear friend. His generosity in sharing knowledge, techniques, ideas, and studio space has been an invaluable part of my journey.
Today, I believe the creative thread that began in childhood has found its true expression in clay.
